We, B.LOCAL TECHNOLOGIES PRIVATE LIMITED (‘Company’, ‘We’, ‘Us’, ‘Our’) respect the privacy of our users (‘User’, ‘You’, ‘Your’).

This Privacy Policy (‘Privacy Policy’) sets forth the terms and conditions with regard to collection, use, disclosure and protection of your information (“Information”) when you download or/and use our Mobile Application B.Local (the ‘Application’).

This Privacy Policy is subject to our Terms of Use (“User Terms”) and shall be read in conjunction with the User Terms. All capitalised terms not defined under this Privacy Policy shall have the meaning ascribed to it under the User Terms. In the event of any conflict between the terms of this Privacy Policy and the User Terms, the provisions of the User Terms shall prevail over the Privacy Policy.

The Application may display links to third-party websites or applications. Such third-party websites or applications are controlled and operated by respective third-parties. The terms of this Privacy Policy are not applicable to Information that you provide to, or that is collected by any third-party websites or applications through the Application. We shall not be responsible or liable for any Information provided or collected by any such third-party websites or applications through the Application.

Your Consent

Please read the Privacy Policy fully to understand our policies and practices regarding the collection, use, disclosure and protection of your Information. By using the Application and the services, you consent to the terms and conditions of this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with the terms of this Privacy Policy, do not download, register with, or use the Application. By downloading, registering with, or using the Application, you agree to be legally bound by terms and conditions of this Privacy Policy.

Changes to Privacy Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time, for any reason, without any prior notice to you. Any changes shall be effective immediately upon the posting of the revised Privacy Policy. In the event we make any substantial changes to our Privacy Policy we will endeavour to reasonably notify you by email (email address specified in your account) and/or through a notice on the Application. You are advised to review the Privacy Policy periodically for any latest update on the Privacy Policy. Your use of the Application and services following the effective date of any update to the Privacy Policy will constitute your acceptance of the revised/updated Privacy Policy.

Collection of Information

Information provided by you shall include but not be limited to your name, date of birth, location, address, phone number, email id, login name, password. We may collect search words, location, contacts from your address book, products or services requested, order details including medical Information in the form of medical prescriptions, depending on the nature of product, to initiate a transaction on the Platform, and share such Information upon reasonable request and on a need to know basis and upon request with the vendors/merchants/delivery partners providing such product or services to you. We may collect financial Information, including debit card/credit card account data or other payment method data, to process payments for the transactions on the Application. If you are a User who is vendor/merchant/shop keeper/delivery partner, in addition to the above you shall also provide details of your business, copies of government issued identification documents, statutory registrations and other KYC details.

We may receive Information about you from third parties, such as other Users, partners, our affiliated companies or solution provider (which may contain Information about screens visited and interaction patterns such as screen actions, gestures, taps, scrolls etc).

We indicate fields that are mandatorily required to be filled and fields that are optional. You may decide whether or not to provide such Information. If you decline to provide any Information as may be required to complete your transaction on the Application then the vendor/ delivery partner/payment gateway partner may not provide you the service for the transaction initiated on the Application.

We collect complete details of your transaction related to use of the Application including but not limited to the service requested, date, time, payment details etc banking Information and payment details, ordering details, history, vendors you choose, billing details, payment gateway details, reviews, your correspondences with our support team.

We receive Information about your device, device model, software version, unique identifier number of your device, operating systems, mobile network Information etc when you download and use the Application. We may request access or permission to track location-based Information from your mobile device, either continuously or while you are using the Application, to provide location-based services. If you wish to change our access or permissions, you may do so in your device’s settings. We may collect precise location of your device from your IP address.

Use Of Information

We may use your Information to:

Disclosure of Information

We may share or disclose your Information in certain situations to third parties as set forth herein below:

We may share your Information with third parties namely, (i) vendors, shopkeepers, merchants etc, with whom you choose to place your orders; (ii) other Users, if you are a merchant, shop keeper, vendor, delivery partner, to provide them the Services; (iii) payment gateway companies, to process and collect payments; and (iv) consultants, business associates, marketing partners, delivery partners, who provide services for us and on our behalf to support our business and to fulfil the purpose for which you have provided the Information.

For the purpose of serving advertisements when you visit the Application or marketing or general business analysis, we may share your Information with advertisers, marketing companies and investors as the case may be.

If required under law or if we are of the view that disclosure of your Information is necessary to respond to legal process or subpoenas or court orders, or to investigate or remedy potential violations of our policies, or to protect the rights, property, and safety of others, we may share your Information as permitted or required by any applicable law, rule, or regulation. This includes exchange of Information with other entities for prevention of fraud and reduction of credit risk. In the foregoing circumstances we shall not be under any obligation to intimate or notify you, or to obtain your consent, for disclosure of your Information.

We may share your Information with our affiliates for our internal business purposes. In the event we reorganize or sell all or a portion of our assets, undergo a merger, or are acquired by another entity, we may transfer your Information to the successor entity. If we go out of business or enter bankruptcy, your Information would be an asset transferred or acquired by a third party. You acknowledge that such transfers may occur and that the transferee may comply or decline to be bound with the terms of this Privacy Policy.

You are aware that any Information or content that you share on any public or social media will be publicly available.

We do not manage and we do not have any control on third party solicitations and we are not responsible for the actions of third parties with whom you share your Information.

Access to your Information

You shall be responsible for the authenticity of your Information and we shall not be responsible to verify any Information provided by you. You may access, edit, correct, update or delete the Information provided by you. Deletion of certain Information may lead to cancellation of your registration or your access to the Application. Any Information that is automatically uploaded from the Application, or collected otherwise from you cannot be changed or updated.

Security

We have implemented security measures to store your Information on our servers which cannot be accessed by unauthorised person. We have security measures to prevent unauthorized access, disclosure, misuse, alteration, loss or destruction of your Information. The safety and security of your Information also depends on you and, you are responsible to keep your name, login details and password to the Application confidential.
You are solely responsible for sharing your Information with third party service providers, including vendors, merchants, financial service providers, payment gateways to process payments and manage payment card Information. We do not store and are not responsible for your payment card account Information.

We are not responsible or liable for or responsibility for disclosure of your Information due to any reason, including but not limited to errors in transmission, unauthorized third-party access, or other causes beyond its control. You are aware no method of data transmission can be guaranteed against any interception or other type of misuse. Any Information disclosed online is vulnerable to interception and misuse by unauthorized parties. Therefore, we cannot guarantee complete security of your Information transmitted to our Application and any transmission of your Information is at your own risk.

Posts

Subject to the User Terms and applicable law, you may provide your feedback, reviews, comments, etc., that is publicly viewable on the Application with respect to your view on use of the Application and/or any transactions on the Application. We reserve the right to delete any post or such part of the post that, in our sole discretion, does not comply with the conditions in the applicable User Terms or applicable law. All posts shall be publicly accessible and visible to all Users of the Application. We reserve the right to use, reproduce and share such posts for any purpose. If you delete your posts from the Application, copies of such posts may remain viewable in archived pages, or such posts may have been copied or stored by other Users.

Uninstall

You may at any time terminate your account by uninstalling the Application. You may use the standard uninstall processes as may be available as part of your mobile device or via the Application. Upon your request to terminate your account, we will deactivate or delete your account and Information from our active databases. However, some Information may be retained in our files to prevent fraud, troubleshoot problems, assist with any investigations, enforce our User Terms and/or comply with legal requirements.
